Gumma Gundoo - Antenatal Midwifery Service

Gumma Gundoo is a culturally safe antenatal, postnatal, and infant care service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women—or women having an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander baby. The service is delivered by Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service and is based at the Rockhampton Children and Family Centre.

The Gumma Gundoo team provides support during pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks after your baby is born. They offer care in person at the Rockhampton Community and Public Health Service, or in your home after birth. Families who choose to follow an identified model of care are supported every step of the way.
