We are committed to supporting the holistic development of children in our community by focusing on their physical health, emotional wellbeing, and educational progress.
By nurturing these key areas early, we lay the groundwork for lifelong success, resilience, and a strong sense of identity – ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive now and in the future.
The ASQ-TRAK is a simple, family-friendly way to check how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children are growing and developing from 2 months up to 5 and a half years old.
This tool helps identify what your child is doing well and spots any areas where they might need a bit of extra support early on. It’s designed to involve families by having caregivers take part in the process, so you get to learn more about your child’s development and skills while being supported by the health team.
Protecting your child’s health is important. Immunisations help keep children safe from serious illnesses and give them the best start in life.
Bidgerdii Community Health Service, provide vaccinations that follow the recommended schedule for children to keep them healthy and protected.
